RABI has launched two new support services. * In-person mental health counselling * Farming-focused mental health training The free, confidential in-person counselling is delivered by BACP accredited counsellors. Anyone feeling they could benefit from talking to a professional can access via RABI’s 24/7 helpline on 0800 188 4444. Clinical or GP referrals are not necessary, with counsellors responding to initial requests for support within 24 hours. Counselling sessions can take place face-to-face, by telephone or video conferencing and are tailored and led by each individual. RABI is a grant making charity for individuals/families in financial need. We help farmers, farm managers, farm workers who work full-time in farming as their sole or main source of income, and their dependents. Regional Welfare Officers make home visits to new applicants and existing beneficiaries and our support and assistance is tailored to individual needs. The helpline is answered by the head office welfare team in Oxford. All calls are treated in strictest confidence.
