Description:

We help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families. We offer face to face support at our UK services in Buckinghamshire, Cheshire, Cumbria, East London, West London, Glasgow, Leeds and Milton Keynes, as well as in some outreach locations. We also offer Booked Telephone Support for parents facing bereavement of a baby or child of any age, and for parents/carers supporting children or young people facing bereavement of someone close to them. All our support services are free. See our website for details, including information on how our services are affected by the coronavirus. Age range: We support any child or young person up to the age of 25 who has been bereaved of someone special, we also support parents/carers who are bereaved of a baby or child at any age. We offer face-to-face support for individuals, couples or families. We also offer a group for younger children (ages 4-11) and their families and a group for young people (ages 12-25) where they can meet other bereaved young people Referral Procedure: We accept self-referrals and third party referrals via telephone to your local centre. Please note that third party referrals are only accepted if the family’s consent has been gained.
